Our Story

The Banyan Tree Sacramento opened in 2015, with founder Rachel Marrs’ dream for a unique and welcoming environment for her clients. In 2019, Banyan Tree founder Rachel Marrs followed another dream and The Banyan Tree has since then continued to flourish for more than 7 years under the Ownership of her proud parents, John and Judy Marrs.

This guiding vision is summed up in The Banyan Tree’s motto, which we continue to hold central to our salon’s culture to this day:

“The Banyan Tree is a family owned and stylist operated hair salon in Midtown Sacramento. Our establishment places an ongoing emphasis on love, respect, professionalism and creativity. We have taken great care planning our salon to be run with integrity and ease since 2015.”

The Banyan Tree Sacramento especially holds fast to these guiding principles: love, respect, professionalism and creativity. These are all guided and implemented with integrity and ease. Resulting in a salon culture we are very privileged to have nurtured and grown over the past decade.
